This last week I took off kinda. I still was active and thats what really counts. We went to the water park the Theam park rode our bikes walked around San Francisco. We were active! But I took the time off because it was the last week before school started and I wanted to do stuff with my child. The one I am trying to make my self have more energy for? Yeah him!
Today we plan on riding the bikes to the school and meet the new teacher. Tomorrow I will ride him to school on the bike and then go back get my car go to work. I love that child of mine. I wish I could be there to pick him up his first day but alass I have to work as well. The good thing is when he isnt in school I am not working.
I have been trying to not eat out much and that has saved us money. We have been eating healthy for awhile which actually saves us money! I make the foods from scratch and we eat better. It is cheeper in the short term to buy boxed food but in the long term make it all the way our grandparents did is so much better for your wallet and your weight! We get our 5 servings aday. We get our healthy side and if we choose to have cake or ice cream sometimes there is room! Heck I even have made that as well!
Im working on my GF breads because I have alot of friends who are GF and that would be great to have them over sometime for dinner or stuff.....But the main thing is being GF is healthy. I do see the bennifits to being GF or mostly eat GF foods even if you dont have to be GF it is better for the system.
All summer it hasnt been hot. We had like 80 at the hottest but not realy hot! So going out for a jog or walk hasnt been bad. That is untill yesterday! OMG! It was so hot yesterday I didnt cook. We went out to Sweet Tomatoe. I figured the salad and stuff would be good for me. I had Ice tea and milk insted of soda.
Tonight I plan on making stir and dump chicken.
So here is the deal you mix up catalina dressing lipton oion soup mix and apricot, peach or plum jelly pour over your chicken breast cook at 350 for like 1 hr ( 50 min sometimes) and serve over rice. Gose well with peas. And vala you have all your food groups healthy easy and mostly home made. We use the home made jams my bil makes. But if he didnt make them I would make my own I sware!
If its too hot to cook again it will be taco salad! With chicken strips
Welp hope you all are working out well and rember to weigh in at the end of this week! Even if you dont tell me just do it.
Next week I will post the picture of my dress that I will fit in for christmas. I look at it every day
